Delete your Hanzilingo account

Applies to hanzilingo.com and our apps: Hanzilingo Talk, Vocably and the browser extension. Last updated: October 30, 2026

1. Delete in the app

The fastest way. Your account is deleted immediately and cannot be restored.

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings and tap Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm by signing in again (Google, Apple or an email code).

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app, send an email from the address you use to sign in:

We reply to confirm the request comes from the account owner, then delete the account within 30 days. We never ask for your password.

3. What is deleted

  • Your profile: name, email, avatar and sign-in links (Google, Apple).
  • All learning data: lesson progress, vocabulary, flashcard reviews, XP, streaks and badges.
  • AI Speaking sessions, transcripts, speaking notebook and pronunciation scores.
  • Speaking meetups you created, your meetup messages, community posts and images.
  • Your Premium status and purchase records linked to the account.

4. What is kept, and for how long

  • A deletion log entry without your email (date and result only), kept so we can prove the request was handled.
  • Bank transfer records for web purchases, no longer linked to your account, kept as long as accounting and tax law requires.
  • Content you shared in study groups owned by other people stays in those groups, without your name.

5. Subscriptions from App Store or Google Play

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it first in your store settings, or it will keep renewing:

  • Google Play: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Trong app: mở app và đăng nhập, vào Cài đặt → Tài khoản → Xoá tài khoản, rồi xác nhận bằng cách đăng nhập lại. Tài khoản bị xoá ngay và không khôi phục được.

Không còn app: gửi email từ đúng địa chỉ dùng để đăng nhập tới huangyongcheng3@gmail.com với tiêu đề Account deletion request. Chúng tôi xác nhận rồi xoá trong vòng 30 ngày.

Bị xoá: hồ sơ, toàn bộ dữ liệu học, buổi luyện nói AI, kèo và tin nhắn, bài đăng cộng đồng, trạng thái Premium. Được giữ: nhật ký xoá không kèm email, chứng từ chuyển khoản không còn gắn với tài khoản (theo thời hạn luật kế toán yêu cầu), nội dung đã chia sẻ trong nhóm học của người khác (không kèm tên).

Xoá tài khoản không huỷ gói mua qua App Store hoặc Google Play. Hãy huỷ gói trong cài đặt của store trước.
